Tesla Model Y - Changing Air Filter to Get Rid of Smells

We have had our Tesla Model Y for over a year now, and it seems like the right time to go ahead and change out the cabin air filters. There are 2 filters, both located in the same spot, and this is also a great time to go ahead and clean out the AC compressor. Depending on your location and environmental factors, your Tesla Model Y or Model 3 may be exhibiting some unpleasant smells coming from the HVAC system. If this is the case, there is likely moisture and debris in the air intake for the cabin HVAC system that is causing this unpleasant smell. The good news is that there is a quick and easy fix to rid your Model Y or Model 3 of these smells. Simply changing out the air filters as well as cleaning the compressor will do wonders to restoring that Tesla smell. There are 2 filters to be replaced, and I highly recommend you spend the extra money on a HEPA rated filter when doing this. This will help to improve the air quality in the cab of your Model Y and Model 3.
