This is the story of the harrowing experience I had with Macedonian customs when I tried to carry my photo equipment and drone through the Bitola checkpoint recently. My crazy ordeal showed me a side of Macedonian corruption I was hoping not to see. Please note: I never had a chance to visit and photograph this country. It is allegedly beautiful and the people are very nice and friendly. I never had a chance to discover this.
