Top of the Class | Sudrian Stories: Episode 27

The following video was made with the intent that it can be viewed by and enjoyed by general audiences; people of any age. Now that we're back to our regularly scheduled uploads, I want to thank everyone for their immense support on How Diesel 10 Stole Christmas, as well as your patience between this project and the last. Starting Life on Another Railway was a quick bonus episode I decided to make since I knew how long we would be working on Top of the Class, but boy, was it worth it. Chase revamped his script, Cam helped with the animation and music, and together, the three of us worked really hard to get this thing off the ground. Both of them have complimented me on my directing skills improving, and while sometimes it can be hard to watch my own videos after editing them for so long, I have noticed a lot of the shots look nicer, the quick-cut shots aren't so quick anymore, the narration is slower and more clear. We had a total blast on this project, and it was really fun doing something with Class 40, especially coming up with a "CGI take" on him while still honoring his original model from Series 4. Who would've guessed Wario Land 3 would have such a nifty theme for Class 40? I'm beyond excited to get to work with Cam and Chase on the next few episodes to round out the remainder of Season 3 (and Basil!), then we're onto Mudslide Mountain! It's a very far goal as we stand right now, but it'll be ready to roll out sooner than we think.
