Fadak The stolen Property of Fatima Zahra (sa)

“O’ People be INFORMED! I am Fatima, and my father is Muhammad (saww) I say that Repeatedly and Initiate it continually; I say not what I say Mistakenly, nor do I do what I do Aimlessly…So here you are take it (my rights) ready with its nose rope and saddled BUT it shall encounter you on the Day of Gathering, Thus what a wonderful Judge is Allah (swt), a claimant is Mohammed (saww) and a day is the Day of Rising ” (Lady Fatima (sa) in her sermon claiming the vast lands of Fadak which supported hundreds of poor as well as the Islamic battalions). The sermon Fadak deserves to be read, if you allow it, it will make you touch the stars. Fatima (sa) in making that short walk to the courtyard and delivering that speech; in addition to performing the proof (hujjat), exhausting all excuses, Education, teaching us the true meaning of Jihad (struggle), giving the oppressed hope and countless other reasons, wanted all of us to know who Fatima was, in the words of Fatima. Why though? Maybe Fatima (sa) wanted to share her hopes, her dashed hopes, her shattered dreams, her tears, her sufferings, her motivations, her principals, her knowledge, her justice, her beautiful living Islam, with you and I even though we are not worthy. Fatima (sa) wanted to explain to you what happened after the prophet (saww), so you would not be confused, you would not be fooled, to give you solace, to know that her house was torn down before yours, nay much worse. It is all in the speech of Fadak. It was her heart to heart with you. Take time out to listen to her words, there is no middleman. It is up to you if you truly want to know Fatima(sa). Fatima (sa) has exhausted the excuses. The sermon of Fadak will enrich your being and purify you. It is Islam. There is no more an eloquent speech in history. If you want a summation of the school of Ahlulbayt (as) it is it. It is to the words of Ahlulbayt |(as) what Fatiha is to the holy Quran and Fatima (sa) is its dot. Read and reflect on it. It Fadakiya was the underground cry of Imam Ali (as) in those dark days, it was the solace of Imam Hassan when he signed the ceasefire with the wretched evil tree.It was the open revolution of Hussain (as) and Zainab (sa), it was the tears of Sajjad (as) and it is the love, sword and recognition of the 12th Imam (atf). Listen to it and understand it. It is never too late. The lands of Fadak in the hands of ahlulbayt (as) and the words of fadak on pure ears were meant to give to humanity. Indeed, these lands were gifted to the best and most trustworthy giver. In taking them from her(sa) a curse and stain and stench was placed on this Ummah, that all the perfumes of Arabia will not wash out. But the words of Fadak can and will wash this damn stain out, they are in your midst and once read with a pure heart pray for your needs. It is the best dua and bless your dua with tears for Fatima the lonely. The sorrows of Fatima (sa) made the prophet (saww) say ‘I suffer like no other prophet has’. Her pain overshadows each of the imams. Look for the tributes to her in their words. Once the 9th Imam Taqi (as) was a small child, his father Imam Reza (as) saw him staring at the walls of the Kaaba with unswerving attention and in the deepest of thought. As Imam Reza (as) continued to observe his extreme focus he asks his son, Imam Taqi (as), to share his thoughts. The child Imam Taqi (as) replies ‘father I was wondering when our mother Zahra would be avenged’. Just imagine what was going through his young mind and what effect his words had on Imam Reza (as).
