Battlefield 1942 - Desert Combat v0.7 - AC-130 Gazala USA mostly against bots

Desert Combat playlist:    • Desert Combat (2004) Battlefield 1942 Mod ...   Showcasing the AC-130 in action against bots as best I can (even the bots know how to use the gun so they did take out a few units). In clan matches this vehicle was operated by 2 people, a pilot and a gunner who jumps between the 4 weapon slots (mostly 3, the howitzer, auto cannon and chain gun as the howitzer takes time to reload). The AC-130 was also a spawn point (the Iraqi side had a Mi-8 helicopter as an exclusive spawn point, and being a helicopter it can hover high enough to not be seen by aircraft). I don't know what happened to the Battlefield series which saw the removal of team-oriented vehicles such as the AC-130 (relegating it as an automated platform in Bad Company 2 if I recall). I imagine the need to atomized all aspects of gameplay is important in modern development of Battlefield. Anyway this map is probably the best clan match map due to the asymmetry of the arsenals involved (on top of the physical asymmetry of all weapons/vehicles in game).
