Doctor Who: The Virgin New Adventures 1: Intro & Target Books - The LIbrary of St. John the Beheaded
The Library of St. John the Beheaded is a series covering the history of original Doctor Who fiction in prose, starting with the Virgin New Adventures, a series of books that ran from 1991 to 1997 and acted as the official continuation of the TV series after its cancellation. In this first video I will be looking at the Doctor Who Target novelisations, and in particular, three that would go on to influence the direction of the Virgin New Adventures: Remembrance of the Daleks by Ben Aaronovitch, Battlefield by Marc Platt, and The Curse of Fenric by Ian Briggs.
