I Did an Even Trade for This 1995 Mustang Cobra — Here’s What I Got
I ended up doing an even trade on an old auction truck for this 1995 Mustang Cobra, and honestly… I think I came out pretty good on the deal. This thing is red with black leather interior, sounds incredible, and has all the right SN95 Cobra vibes. The video starts with the car pulling into the shop, and the exhaust note alone made me excited to finally dig into this thing. But like most cheap project cars… it definitely has issues. In this video, I bring the Cobra into the shop and start going over the entire car to see exactly what I traded for. I do a full walkaround, check out the interior, look underneath it on the lift, and start figuring out what kind of condition this old Mustang is really in. And pretty quickly… the wiring problems start showing themselves. Over the years, this car has clearly been messed with A LOT. Random wiring everywhere, hacked connections, questionable repairs, and electrical gremlins throughout the car. So before I can really start enjoying it, I decide to clean up the wiring mess and try to make everything functional again. I spend time: Diagnosing wiring issues Cleaning up hacked electrical work Tracing bad connections Fixing loose and damaged wiring Inspecting the car underneath Looking over suspension and drivetrain components Figuring out what direction this Cobra build should go The more I dig into it, the more I realize this car actually has a ton of potential. The body looks solid. The black leather interior is surprisingly nice. And the car sounds absolutely nasty in the best possible way. This is just the beginning of the build series, and now that I’ve got a better idea what I’m working with, there’s a lot more coming soon for this SN95 Cobra. Future plans may include: More performance upgrades Suspension work Interior cleanup Paint correction Engine work Exhaust upgrades Track use or street build plans If you’re into: Foxbody and SN95 Mustangs Mustang Cobra projects Cheap project cars DIY automotive repair Mustang restorations Budget builds V8 Mustangs Revivals and rescues …make sure to subscribe because this Cobra is going to get more attention soon. And let me know in the comments: 👉 Would YOU have traded for this Cobra? 👉 Should I restore it, modify it, or leave it mostly original? Thanks for watching and stay tuned for the next part of the build. #MustangCobra #SN95 #FordMustang #ProjectCar #SVTCobra
