With over 1.1 billion mobile connections and a rapidly expanding internet user base, telecom infrastructure has become the critical foundation of the nation’s digital economy. Public and private investments have enabled significant advancements in mobile coverage, fiber deployment, and data services. However, challenges persist—particularly in achieving deeper fiberization, ensuring 5G readiness, and addressing uneven connectivity between urban and rural regions.
