In this episode, we joined a small local tour and explored three incredible destinations outside Barcelona. From the breathtaking mountain monastery of Montserrat, to the medieval streets of Girona, and finally the stunning Mediterranean coastline of Costa Brava. Along the way, we heard fascinating stories about Gaudí and the Sagrada Família, wandered through one of Europe's best-preserved Jewish quarters, visited filming locations from Game of Thrones, and enjoyed spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. As the sun set over the coast, we ended the day with a wonderful Mediterranean dinner and reflected on one of the most memorable days of our trip. This wasn't a day about checking off tourist attractions.
