VLOGMAS EP. 4❄️☃️ 🎄✨ Vlogmas continues 🫣🥹🫶🏾 and today I’m taking you on my very first long haul OTR, from Oklahoma to Arizona. This wasn’t just miles on a map. This was God teaching me patience, slowing me down long enough to listen, and showing me that even the road can be holy ground when we drive it with Him. I sat behind a driver parked at the pump for 45 minutes, and instead of anger, I felt peace EVENTUALLY. No anger. No flesh taking over 🥲 just the Holy Spirit keeping my heart still. OTR introduced me to a new pace, a new rhythm, a new walk of trust. Sometimes God holds us in stillness to reveal who we’re becoming. Crossing into New Mexico for the first time, the desert stretched out like a canvas only God could paint. Dry. Endless. Quiet. Beautiful. I drove through terrain I’d never seen in my life, and with every mile I felt Him stretching me the same way — wide, open, surrendered. A reminder that His creation is bigger than the parts I’ve known, and so is His plan for me. This first haul also taught me time management without fear, structure without stress, movement without overwhelm. I set up my utility area under the truck ; gallon of water, skincare, brushing teeth, simple hygiene in the middle of nowhere .. and I opened my Bible before rolling one mile. Scripture first. Engine second. Because I don’t want to just drive trucks ..I want to follow God wherever the road leads me. This haul sanctified me more than I expected. It grew my patience. It tested my discipline. It revealed what it looks like to walk with God when nobody sees you, when you’re tired, when you’re learning, when the only witness is Him. Faith isn’t just tested in storms , sometimes it’s tested in stillness. This diary is for every believer learning to trust God in new seasons, adjusting to new terrain, stretching beyond comfort, and choosing peace where frustration used to live. For the ones stepping into “firsts,” for the ones learning time management with grace, for the ones letting God teach them mile by mile. Welcome if you’re new… and welcome back if you’re not.
