Want to Waste Money? Don’t Watch This

In tough economic times, every dollar matters. A lot of people assume they need to spend top dollar on a brand-new firearm to stay protected. That’s not always true. In this video, I talk about SHTF on a budget and why buying used firearms from a pawn shop can save you serious money — if you know what you’re looking for. I use two pistols I’ve owned and carried myself as examples: • Springfield XD 9 Subcompact • Rock Island Armory 1911A1-CS (compact Officer’s model) I’m on a fixed income like a lot of my viewers out there, so I don’t buy guns new. Pawn shops let you inspect the exact firearm you’re buying, and many of these pistols are built well enough that they simply don’t wear out. If you’re spending $700+ on a pistol and then saying you can’t afford ammo, training, food, or water… it might be time to rethink your strategy. The goal isn’t to buy “cheap.” The goal is to spend smart and free up money for more resources. Saving on the firearm can free up money for things that matter just as much — ammunition, range time, medical supplies, food storage, water, and other practical survival gear. Both of these pistols make solid concealed-carry options and dependable tools for protecting your family when things go bump in the night. I’m not selling anything and I don’t profit from any firearm sales — I’m just passing along what’s worked for me so you can save money and still stay prepared.
