Sailing a damaged boat across Australia [105]

After hitting a huge floating tree in the middle of the night, we assess the damage and attempt repairs in one of the most remote parts of Australia. With a damaged rudder, a damaged saildrive, and 700 nautical miles still to go until Darwin, turning back isn't really an option. We replace the rudder, continue west across Northern Australia, sail past an incredible shark feeding frenzy, and hope the boat holds together long enough to reach a haul-out facility. 👉 THANK YOU for being part of this adventure.
