Leaving Mount Osore, we headed to Hotokegaura on the Shimokita Peninsula. Honestly, at this point, we only intended to make a quick stop on our way to Oma Port. After descending a 100-meter staircase, we arrived to find a landscape far beyond our imagination. The gigantic rock formations and crystal-clear sea made us stop in our tracks, captivated by the sight…! We enjoyed the magnificent natural beauty of Honshu's northernmost region, even taking a walk with Shushu. Afterward, we headed to Oma Port, the culmination of our 1000km journey along Honshu's back roads. After completing Shushu's procedures before boarding the ferry, we headed to town in search of the Oma tuna we'd been looking forward to, but due to time and budget constraints, we decided to buy our supplies at a supermarket. However, that turned out to be a great decision! 😳✨ For our last night on Honshu, we slept in our car in the ferry waiting parking lot. We reminisced about our journey while enjoying the sashimi and meat we bought at the supermarket. "Supermarket sashimi is this delicious?!"
