Today, I'm here to report on how I lowered my X-ADV750 by 6cm, and how much better it is to reach the ground. The X-ADV750's seat isn't particularly high, but it's quite wide, making it very difficult to reach the ground. I changed to Android Motorcycle's BestCon seat, which has improved things a bit, but it's still quite tight. While searching for information on lowering bikes, I came across a page at Honda Dream Hachioji called "Recommendations for Lowering the X-ADV." I'll include a link to the information in the description. This information is from 2019, so I called to see if they could do it for my X-ADV750, and they said they could do it for me, so I went ahead and did it. The total cost was 88,000 yen including tax. First, let me show you some before and after photos. 。 What do you think? Don't you think the foot reach has improved considerably? So, after I had the bike lowered, I took a video when I went to pick it up, so let's take a closer look. Finally, I was worried that the link part would hit the bumps, but it seemed to be fine for now. Because the bike was lowered, the Givi's inner fender was interfering, so I had it removed. I also removed the adjustable side stand that I had just replaced, and had the stock stand modified to be shorter. Also, the stock chain guard could no longer be installed without some modification.
