Giving Uber a Break | My First Week Working with Veezu

Saturday night, rainy Sheffield… hoodie on, grinding once again. This week I decided to give Uber a break and try Veezu, a more local but nationwide private hire company. They’ve got an actual base here where you can walk in, grab a bottle of water, reset, and get back to work — something Uber never offered. I’ve been with Veezu since Monday and honestly… I’m enjoying it. The pay is better, a lot more cash jobs, and even when things aren’t as smooth as Uber’s system, I’d still rather deal with them than Uber’s low prices and constant pressure. Hit my weekly target. 69 jobs done. More to go. And it feels good to be diversified instead of relying on one company. I also touched on my personal journey — quitting cigarettes completely, taking my kids to boxing, getting in the ring myself, sweating, sparring, rebuilding life… every day. This channel is about real progress: Mental. Physical. Financial.
