In response, Legislator Chang Chia-chun convened a meeting on the afternoon of the 18th with representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agriculture and Food Agency, the county government, and other relevant agencies to assess the damage in Huwei Township and Yuanchang Township. Chang hopes to expedite a joint inspection by all four parties and provide disaster relief to protect farmers' rights.
