parkrun Australia x Relationships Australia community partnership launch

parkrun Australia is excited to announce a new community partnership with Relationships Australia, a community-based not-for-profit organisation that promotes the importance of respectful relationships for both individual mental health and general community outcomes. With up to 100,000 walkers, runners and volunteers connecting at our events around the country every Saturday, parkrun Australia has been recognised as a Very Neighbourly Organisation (VNO). VNOs are organisations that are committed to increasing respectful relationships across Australia and successfully creating a sense of belonging. As part of the partnership, parkrun Australia will be supporting Relationships Australia’s flagship campaign, Neighbours Every Day. The campaign’s annual day of action, Neighbour Day, held on the final weekend in March, champions the health benefits of social connection and will promote parkrun events as a safe space in which to develop respectful relationships.
