18 DAYS AT SEA, FISHING FOR GIANT LOBSTER, Day 1 & 2.

WATCH this VLOG series as we head on out to the southern ocean to fish for Southern Rock Lobster here in Tasmania. Onboard the commercial fishing vessel Chieftain a 17.5m/57ft steel Tasmanian built vessel now 23 years old run by a Cummins NT855. Thank you everyone for liking and subscribing. We are new to this Youtube video stuff so its very rough, as you can expect things will get a lot smoother as this series progresses and into the future. Apologies for Audio quality I am slowly getting use to using the microphones. NOTE; Here is a current scenario:  If I want to leave the wharf, with current prices   Quota is $34 per kg I need 1500kg at minimum that's $51,000 out of pocket already. i now need Fuel which is $2.02 per liter i need 1500L = $3000 i am at $54,000 still haven't left  i best get some Bait for the pots $4 per kg i need 1500kg= $6000 food for crew and i $800 -$1000 for up to 2 weeks  now i can leave the wharf, I'm only $61,000 out of pocket.
