In a special edition of I Am Athlete, We are celebrating Black History Month with our I Am Black Series, highlighting the everyday success of black men and women. In this episode, the guys sit down with former NFL All Pro Adewale Ogunleye who transitioned from football into becoming UBS's Head of Global Sports and Entertainment, the #1 Wealth Management Entity in the world.  Brandon, Fred and Channing come ready to take notes and ask questions about mistakes they have made and finding a different way to look at finances and long term investments. Wale said during his playing days, he realized that the failure of financial advisors to speak athletes' language was leaving many athletes and young people vulnerable to bad advice. After his playing days were finished, he invested in a future to help athletes and entertainers find a better way.  Wale tells Brandon and Fred that, "Money in families show flow from the top down, but when athletes make it, the problem is, it goes from them upward, which is where things get out of sorts," while Channing agrees it starts with how people are raised and the communities they are from.  In celebration of other black Chefs and entrepreneurs, Chef Nancie invites Shawn Williams, the owner of strictly wings and Magic Soul Food, who shares his story on how he started from the ground up spurring his love for cooking into owning 13 different restaurants.
