Visit to Camp Ranao (Speech) 9/21/2017

Marawi City, Lanao del Sur September 21, 2017 For the fifth time, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte visited Marawi City and talked to the soldiers in Camp Ranao. Prior to his visit, the Presidential team made an emergency landing at the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army (PA) at Barangay Maria Cristina in Iligan City due to inclement weather. From Iligan City, they travelled by land to Camp Ranao in Marawi City for an hour. In his visit, the President talked with the soldiers and provided them with financial assistance. He was accompanied by National Defense (DND) Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Presidential Adviser on Military Affairs Arthur Tabaquero, and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Chief of Staff General Eduardo Año.
