Rajoy e Iglesias bromean sobre su dominio de Twitter y de los SMS

Madrid, Oct 27 (EFE) - Mariano Rajoy and Pablo Iglesias held a face-to-face meeting filled with irony, in which, among other things, they joked about the use of social media and also mobile phones. The Podemos leader used the moment to remind the acting prime minister about the Bárcenas case. It all began when Rajoy told Iglesias that he seemed to be holding a debate "on Twitter" and not a parliamentary one, and said: "I don't handle those things well." Iglesias used this reference to criticize Rajoy for noting that, although he isn't very good at handling Twitter, he handles text messages "wonderfully," clearly alluding to the well-known messages Rajoy sent to the former PP treasurer. Rajoy didn't let the challenge go: "I'm getting better on Twitter, and I was worse at handling text messages, but now I'm getting better too," he joked, also noting that he has learned that in life it's good to "acknowledge mistakes and rectify them." A response to which Iglesias responded by praising Rajoy's "self-criticism" regarding the text messages. At the end of this face-to-face meeting, Mariano Rajoy reproached Iglesias for not having contributed "a single idea for the future of Spain." And he returned to the same rebuke as at the beginning: "You can do a lot in 140 characters," but in life and in Parliament, "it's always better" to argue, reason out approaches, and convince others. "It's always better, I recommend it," the acting prime minister told the Podemos leader. Keywords: efe, investiture, pp, rajoy, podemos, iglesias, twitter, text messages, barcenas, non-monetize
