From La Spezia to Milan via Genova, Italian intercity train trip report (from Cinque Terre to Milan)

From La Spezia to Milan, there are several direct intercity trains per day. Apart from these intercity trains, at the railway station of La Spezia you will find the semi high-speed Freccia-Bianca trains and the sleeper trains between northern Italy and the south of Italy. Of course, this railway station is being served by many local trains, a lot of these local trains serve mainly the towns of the Cinque Terre (there will be a special Cinque Terre travel vlog on this channel). The intercity to Milan is the best connection to other international trains into Europe, because from Milan you will find trains to France, Switzerland, Germany & Austria. The part between La Spezia & Genova, is by far the prettiest part of this route by train, along the coast.
