The Outdoor Kitchen Build Finally Begins… But We Changed EVERYTHING!

Originally, we planned to build the outdoor kitchen where our old solar shed used to sit. We even moved the shed and removed a tree to make room. But the more we stood there and imagined it, the more we realized it would block one of our favorite views—from the cabin looking out and from the property looking back at the cabin. So… we made a big decision. We completely changed the location of the outdoor kitchen, and that meant changing the design too! Since the new location is on a hillside, we decided to build with a wood-framed structure instead of the heavier rock design we originally had planned. Sometimes the best projects evolve as you go, and we're excited with the direction this one is taking. In Day 1 of the build we: 🪵 Set the support posts 🔨 Built the framing 🏡 Installed the floor/deck 📍 Started bringing our new outdoor kitchen to life Our goal is to move quickly on this build because we can't wait to start cooking, entertaining, and enjoying meals outside this summer!
