If this series hadn't been a part of my childhood, I wouldn't have been as passionate about my animations as I am today. Thank you SSS! THINGS I WANT TO MAKE CLEAR ABOUT THE VIDEO: A small handful of these scenes are heavily referenced from the original due to some of them being a bit too complicated for my current animation skill, but I have tried to translate these scenes into my own style as much as possible! I did not make this for the sake of making it “better” than the original. This was just a fun personal project. The background seen at 0:27 is entirely traced from the original animation and remastered for a more HD version, since I did not have access to the original image. They drew several of the backgrounds that are seen in this video for me, seen at 0:40, 0:53, 1:02, & 1:06, although it's probably very easy to distinguish which backgrounds aren't mine because mine are terrible lmao. Without your talent I probably wouldn't have had the will to finish this at all, thank you so much. I started this during summer of 2019, took a break for about 5-7 months and resumed it during my last few weeks of school in June 2020, which is why you might (hopefully) see a sudden improvement or slight change in art style at around 1:06.
