Reverse Engineering: Slicing in InStep Studio 3D, V3.1
This video covers tools available to generate sketch data from meshes, useful for export to CAD applications and reverse engineering the silhouette back into a parameterized shape. This is probably the most useful tool to have when working with scan data that is generally not well defined in terms of edges and perimeters and can have open sections and similar.
