Halfway between Kallitha and Kriopigi there is an exceptional and not so popular beach... The beach of Lefki Peristera is more than 1 km long and up to 50 m wide in some parts. In the literal translation from Greek, this beach is called "white dove" " and I'm sure that the name is also connected with this fine white sand on the beach... The fine white sand on the beach turns into fine pebbles upon entering the water, but after a few meters, the finest sand continues again. On sunny, calm days, you will enjoy the incredible color of the water here... The safe seabed and the shallows that last up to 15 m qualify this beach as ideal for families with the youngest swimmers. We found several showers on the entire beach, but they are also and toilets and changing cabins within the hotel, i.e. beach bars in front of them. Also, there is no lifeguard and no special entrance for people with disabilities, but even so, the beach can boast a blue flag certificate... In the left part of the beach, in front of the Flegra resort there is the possibility of renting props for water sports. In the background of the beach there are three exclusive hotels. What I can tell the future guests of Hotel Aleksandar Veliki, Flegra Resort and Hotel is that they will have an exceptional beach in front of their accommodation... The most beautiful part of the beach is all the way to the right, in front of the famous hotel Alexander The Great, i.e. Alexander the Great... You won't be able to reach this part of the beach through the hotel courtyard, but a little further on you have a sign on the main road for Agora beach bar and about 100 m after the turn and free parking ...You will have to walk the last 50 m, but then a reward worth your effort awaits you...Far to the right is the Agora beach bar and the deckchairs of this cafe-canteen...while in between there is a free place for your towels and umbrellas in the morning hours , because you won't need umbrellas here in the afternoon because of this exceptional natural shade... The part right in front of the hotel is covered with sunbeds and umbrellas that are reserved for guests of the Hotel Alexander the Great... If you continue to the left, you will come across a slightly narrower beach, but it is and getting into the water a bit worse ... and then all the way to the left, as we approach the smaller port, the beach becomes the best possible again... All the way to the left at the very end of the beach you will be able to visit the extremely poorly maintained and guarded remains of the Early Christian Church of Solina...
