Comparing 4 versions of Dorian Gray

There have been quite a few adaptations of Oscar Wilde’s novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and the character has appeared several times in other stories as well. In this video, I compare the novel (putting it in the context of Victorian ideas about morality and relationships), the 2009 film adaptation starring Colin Firth and Ben Barnes, and the use of the character of Dorian Gray in the 2003 film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and the 2010s TV series Penny Dreadful.
