Replace lead head nails with screws
A quick look at the process of how I replace my old roofing lead head nails with screws. After removing the lead head nail, I scrape away any high spots of old paint. Then I wire brush. I have a rust converter product I paint on. Once that is dry I spray paint it with spray galv. Then I screw in the new screw. I usually do a row at a time one step at a time, seems quicker.
