A child that unfortunately went through the foster system after her parents lost custody but was fortunate enough to be adopted by a loving family. Because the girl had already built a bond with her biological family her adoption remained open to still having a connection with her biological parents and extended relatives. This was a decision made by her adoptive parents because that’s what the young girl wanted. Her new legal parents believed in their hearts it was only right for her to have contact with both sides.
