The town is known for its food, including delicious donuts and rice cakes. They also have famous Bento boxes, which were traditionally eaten by loggers passing through. The town is picturesque, with 7-Elevens, alleyways, and ponds to explore. We hiked along the Logger's Trail, a historic path used for hauling lumber. The trail was filled with stairs (so many stairs!) and led to a beautiful bamboo grove.
