Romans 12: A Recap / Romans 4:23-5:4 / September 29, 2013 / Revised Standard Version 23 Now it was not written for Abraham alone that it was credited to him, 24 but for us also, to whom it will be credited, who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 Jesus was delivered over because of our sins and was raised for our justification. 1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope.
