Syncing Mangrove

A simple but occasionally quite raucous drone/glitch jam with the Mannequis Mangrove. Syncing Mangrove to another VCO (or any audio-rate pulse wave) locks its pitch, but with the right Formant and Barrel settings, altering the pitch makes it jump between harmonics. This lets you created harmonic melodies without a quantiser, but there are chaotic areas at the transitions that could be either nasty or a richly organic feature, depending upon your point of view.
