Literacy Day - AMIS Dafna

Since 1967, International Literacy Day (ILD) celebrations have taken place annually around the world to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society. Under this framework, an as a member of UNESCO Associated Schools, AMIS celebrated this day with its students. During English, French, and Arabic periods, students discussed and wrote sentences about the importance of literacy for a better future. منذ عام 1967، تقام الاحتفالات باليوم الدولي لمحو الأمية (ILD) سنويًا في جميع أنحاء العالم لتذكير الجمهور بأهمية محو الأمية كمسألة كرامة وحقوق الإنسان، ولتعزيز أجندة محو الأمية نحو مجتمع أكثر معرفة بالقراءة والكتابة واستدامة. بهذا اليوم مع طلابها ضمن هذا الإطار، كعضو في المدارس المنتسبة لليونسكو، احتفلت مدرسة المنار الدولية خلال فترات اللغة الإنجليزية، الفرنسية والعربية ناقش الطلبة جملًا حول أهمية محو الأمية من أجل مستقبل أفضل
