It was a day four in Kashmir and we visited Gulmarg and had a shikara ride in Dal Lake. We left our hotel early in the morning around 6 a.m., then we reached Gulmarg. From there we took a cab which cost somewhere around 1500 per person to reach the base of Gulmarg. Then we enjoyed our gondola ride for both phase 1 and phase 2 which costs around 1800 per person. We were at the height of 3500 ft when we were at phase 2 with the temperature of -5 degrees. We witnessed a beautiful snowfall as well. We also had hot and spicy maggi at the peak of Gulmarg. At phase 2 we were allowed to spend only 35 to 45 minutes maximum due to security protocols. We also covered the war museum while coming back. By evening, we reached Dal Lake and enjoyed our shikara ride and continued our stay for a night in a houseboat.
