Secret Muslim Market. Try authentic oriental cuisine near the Islamic Cultural Center in Kyiv

My name is Sorella. I invite you for a walk to various interesting places. On Friday, I visited this wonderful place that I want to show you. The Islamic Cultural Center (since 2001) is a mosque and cultural organization in Kyiv. Daily and Friday prayers are held in the two prayer halls — men's and women's, which can accommodate approximately 1,500 people. For Muslims, there are Koran reading circles (tajwid) and Koran memorization, lectures on the basics of Islam (fiqh, sira, etc.). In the holy month of Ramadan, collective conversations (iftars) take place in the Islamic Cultural Center. Trainings, classes and lectures on personal development are held in the center of women's development. Arabic language and Islamic culture courses have been running at the center for many years. The Islamic Cultural Center of Kyiv has long been known as a venue for various mass cultural and educational events. Great attention is paid to charity: blood donation campaigns, food and money collection for soldiers in the ATO zone and displaced persons from Crimea and Donbas, as well as hospitals and orphanages. On the first floor of the cultural center is the Family House restaurant, which offers dishes of Middle Eastern, European and North African cuisine. Here, in the warmth and coziness of home, you can celebrate a family holiday or a significant date with loved ones and friends. There are also training classes. I recommend tasting the real oriental pilaf at the secret Muslim market - a shopping row about 100 meters long with counters and grills stretches along the sidewalk to the Islamic Cultural Center. Appetizing smells of freshly cooked food can be felt from afar.
