All the Bright Places (Soundtrack Medley) | Keegan DeWitt

“All the Bright Places” is a Netflix teen romantic drama that came out this February. Based on a best-selling novel written by Jennifer Niven, it tells the story of two teenagers struggling with depression and mental health who fall in love with each other. I haven't seen the movie nor read the book, but I was particulary impressed by the musical score, which I started listening out of curiosity. Composed by Keegan DeWitt, a relatively unknown composer, this soundtrack is mostly executed with piano, flute and violins, and consists almost entirely in three variations of the main theme (the first three tracks of the OST). Despite this, the score is incredibly relaxing, quiet, touching and tenderly beautiful. I don't know how it works in the movie, but I came to appreciate very much this score. I use to listen the entire album, but I wanted to share a selection of my favourite tracks, well mixed together. I hope this score and composer may gather more appreciation in the future than they currently do. Enjoy this video!
