The cubs are being kept in boxes, installed in the warm and quiet roomy, where the cubs spent most of the time – sleeping. At this age we feed the cubs not every 2 hours, as it used to be even 2 weeks before, but every 3-4 hours without the night break. It is very important to feed the cubs fast soon after they wake up and do not start actively and loudly to demand food. After the feeding we make the massage and carry out the hygiene procedures. IN the nature the female bear implements this function, stimulating the work of the digestive tract and keeping cubs clean. In case the cubs have a problem with the stomachs, it could happen after replacing the female bear milk by the milk formula, we conduct symptomatic treatment. Weight is one of the most important indicators of the health of cubs. Even the smallest decrease can be a sign of the illness, and in this case it is necessary conduct treatment. We are recording the data about each bear cub, writing all the information in the journal, including how much they ate, whether he went to the toilet, health status, weight, etc. As the cubs are growing, the time they spend together after the feeding is also increasing. Some babies are already trying to stand on their paws and play with each other. This is necessary for both their physical and social development.
