猩猩の舞

日本には古くから「猩猩（しょうじょう）」という酒を愛する神の物語があります。 猩猩は赤い髪を持つ不思議な精霊で、 酒をこよなく愛し、人々に幸福をもたらす存在として語り継がれてきました。 その姿は能や歌舞伎、祭りの芸能の中で演じ継がれ、 今日まで祝いの象徴として親しまれています。 人々は猩猩を、 良い酒をもたらす神、 豊かさと繁栄の象徴、 そして祝いの席を見守る存在として大切にしてきました。 日本では酒は単なる飲み物ではありません。 神々への捧げものとして、 また人と人を結び、喜びを分かち合うためのものとして受け継がれてきました。 本日ご覧いただく「猩猩の舞」は、 酒とともにある喜びと祝福を表現した舞です。 日本酒を愛する皆様への感謝と、 この場に集う皆様の繁栄を願って。 Shōjō is a god with bright red hair. Loving sake above all, Shōjō is said to bring happiness to people. Shōjō has been portrayed in Noh, Kabuki, and traditional festival performances, and remains a beloved symbol of celebration to this day. People have honored Shōjō as the god who brings sake and as a symbol of prosperity and abundance. Shōjō is also believed to watch over joyful celebrations. In Japan, sake has long been offered to the gods. It has also brought people together to share joy. With gratitude to all sake lovers, we wish you happiness and prosperity.
