The Saiga was built entirely at the historic Izhmash factory (once Izhevsk Machine Plant & today part of Kalashnikov Concern) and was the first Russian AK type available to Americans. EAA & RWC sold true Saiga Hunter/Sporter versions, while Arsenal & FIME sold the more military-like SGL series.
