I Tried to Run the Rotterdam Marathon 2025 with My Brother… (Spoiler: It Didn’t Go as Planned)

Hi and welcome to my channel! 👋 I’m Elizabeth and for the past 6 months, while living in Berlin, I’ve been training for something pretty intense… the Rotterdam Marathon! 🏁 Yep, sounds a bit crazy, and to be honest, it felt like that too — especially with the injuries, tight schedule, and all the solo training runs in the cold. 😅 But I wasn’t totally alone — my brother was training for the same marathon back in the Netherlands. Even though we trained separately, knowing we’d run it together gave us some extra motivation. In this video, I take you along during marathon week: my final run in Berlin, traveling back to the Netherlands, picking up our start numbers (which turned out to be quite the event), aaaand then the actual race day. The nerves, the chaos, the good vibes… and yes, the pain 😄 I won’t spoil what happens just yet – but it was definitely awesome to run this race together with my brother!
