I teach the skill trade called Paintless Dent Removal. I like the word removal, because it is just not a repair if you remove it completely. I am 32 years in this great skill trade and I post hour long very in depth videos for how to learn this craft. You can literally learn on your own with a junkyard panel. It’s all in what method you study and I feel I have come up with the best #pdrtraining for anyone with no money. Of course there is the cost of the #pdrcourse but after that pdr requires very little money and more fabrication skills. That's right this trade requires you to tweak and bend your tools to fit the endless changing scenarios in dent repair. What I have found is most important is the ability to adapt the tools and the skills to fit each and every moment. Not learning these vital skills you may be lured into thinking you need to spend thousands on tools and thousands on in person training and it is just not true. Yes I believe at some point it is vital to get some in person training but I recommend to get it later after you've studied online at home for months. Here's why it would work. Many people are trained with a led light method and taught to cross check until the dent is done. I am here to say that is only part of it and I am teaching another more common sense approach and it works for me very well. I post my work here in video to prove you don't need lights and you don't need all the equipment out there to do this work. This skill trade is a very high paying field but you cannot fake it and customers know when the work does not look good. I promise I am teaching a way to do paintless dent repair that is much easier to understand and apply, however you must break the mindsets and habits you currently have if you are struggling to learn and do pdr. In closing I'll keep it simple and leave you with this. I study how to fix dents using the surrounding reflection around which I have to show the customer anyway. Others are teaching to use this 90 degree reference lighting, fog scene, etc to view a 3 dimensional topography with a 2d method. This is how I started in Pdr is with a fog board and I abandoned it because it led to too many illusions to contour. Paintless Dent Removal is like a dance done just right. You push and tap here and there in the right spots and great things happen quickly. Or you push and tap in the wrong spots following your choices of where to position the light and wrong things happen. If you are chasing the lows and highs and spinning around endless fixing dents until you're exhausted with it, then my course is perfect for you.
