In this video, I demonstrate, teach, and demonstrate how to recognize and draw perpendicular and parallel lines, as well as how to check their relative positions using a set square and a ruler. I explain the characteristics of lines that intersect "as straight as possible," meaning perpendicular lines, and how to use a set square to confirm the angles between them are right. I then demonstrate how to draw a line perpendicular to a given line, either at any point or through a selected point. I also discuss how to write perpendicularity using mathematical symbols. In the second part of the video, I move on to parallel lines – explaining how to recognize them, how to draw them, and how to measure equal distances between them at various points to confirm their parallelism.
