Fruits can be stored by covering with a tissue paper like this…. Remain fresh after 4 days…. Tomatos stored by covering with a tissue paper… So fresh, even after 10 days…. Cover with a tissue paper like this….simple….. Ash Gourd, in an air-tight container… In Pumpkin and Ashgourd, remove the central soft portion containing seeds, before stroing…. Remains fresh, even after 4 days…. Tea strainers cleaning Strainers become dark over a period of time. Clean them, as shown, once in a month… Do not purchase plastic tea strainers… They cause serious health problems. Always buy steel tea strainers…. Look at these dark patches… This video demonstrates how to clean strainers…. Required: Baking Soda – 2 TBS, Pril (or any brand) soap liquid – 1 TBS, Lemon - Half We have three strainers to clean…Take a large Kadai, to accommodate three strainers. Use Baking soda (cooking soda) or washing soda… If you use washing soda, please be very careful, while storing… Washing soda is very strong and can cause serious problems to mouth and stomach, if consumed. We avoid washing soda. Fill Kadai with water. Let it start boiling… Baking Soda – 2 TBS, Lemon – Half, Pril – 1/2 TBS. You can also clean knife, oil spoons etc in this. Drop the three stariners into Kadai now. They should get immersed… Let them boil for 10 minutes. Water will get darker because of the dirt… Plastic strainers are harmful to health… Do not purchase plastic….. After 10 minutes, switch off gas…. More the dirt, darker will be the water…. Take one strainer. Keep some ½ TBs of Pril on a plate. Use a tooth brush and rub every part of the strainer. Rub well, the edges, grooves and the net, thoroughly with Pril and brush. Rub everywhere, thoroughly… Boiling with baking soda, cleans all the grime and dust. After that, cleaning with soap and toothbrush, removes all dirt. Wash the strainer with fresh water. Strainer will be shiny….. as good as new… Take the second strainer. Clean with Pril and tooth brush, as mentioned earlier… Boiling with baking soda, cleans all the grime and dust. Brush well. Brush every nook and corner... Wash the strainer with fresh water. Same method for the third strainer also… All three strainers will be very clean, shiny and looking new.
