An Inexpensive Suzuki DR650 Exhaust / Slip-on Muffler Install Mod
I wanted to shave off a little weight and also get a little more sound out of my Suzuki DR650. The DR is probably one of the quietest bikes I've rode. I think it's important to not only be seen on the road but also heard. I found an inexpensive slip-on muffler exhaust kit on eBay and decided it might be the perfect solution. So far so good. This is the installation I did. The muffler with a complete baffler worked great without any modifications to the stock carburetor. I do plan on rejetting the carb in the future though. For now, it's working OK with minor backfiring at high acceleration. I'm riding it gently until the jet kit is installed. Coming soon.
