A CHRISTMAS WEEKEND IN DAHLONEGA 🎄♥️✨ Exploring Georgia's top rated "Hallmark Christmas Town"!

In this video we spend a weekend in Dahlonega, one of Georgia's top rated "Hallmark Christmas towns"!! We visited the weekend after Thanksgiving and it was pure Christmas magic. Visiting Dahlonega around Christmas is truly something special. They do a big tree lighting ceremony in the square downtown the day after Thanksgiving and the whole weekend is full of all the Christmas festivities. They have pictures with Santa, The Grinch, horse drawn carriage rides through the square and Christmas shows at the Holly Theatre. We spent the first morning exploring Bottoms Tree farm. It was such a cool experience seeing all the different trees they offer and everyone cutting down their own trees. They also had food trucks, pictures with Santa and lots of picture opportunities. The property itself was stunning, it was the perfect start to a Christmas filled weekend. We ended the day and night walking around the Dahlonega Square, exploring all the shops and restaurants soaking in the all the Christmas lights and decorations. Our second day we spend the morning back in downtown Dahlonega and we end the afternoon with a short waterfall hike at Desoto falls. It was truly the most perfect Christmas filled weekend and got us even more in the Christmas sprit! We highly recommend visiting Dahlonega, Georgia around Christmas time!
