Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Add minced garlic and 1 jar of marinara or pasta sauce. Cook on low for 4–6 hours. Shred the chicken and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Spread butter on the sub rolls and lightly season with a pinch of salt and garlic powder. Bake the rolls at 400°F until lightly toasted. Scoop the chicken mixture onto the toasted sub rolls and top with provolone cheese. Place under the broiler for 1–2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
