Luka and Abby "Open Your Eyes"

so i've been trying to watch ER for the last like five-ish years. i'd always watch a bunch of episodes then stall out for a while before coming back to watch some more. then this january, i started watching again where i'd previously left off at the end of season 5. i figured i'd watch a few eps before i inevitably got distracted and set ER aside again. but oh man. did i ever not know that about to appear on my screen were luka kovac and abby lockhart. even when they weren't together whatsoever in season 6, i knew that each of these characters was going to end up being my favorites on the show (even though I love the rest of them so much too!!) because both of them just appealed to me so much (and admittedly, once i found out luka was croatian i was done because if you follow me on tumblr you know i'm a little insane for the croatian soccer team). but then when season 7 started and i realized "omfg these guys are going to be love interests???" i was hooked for good. i watched the last ten seasons in about three months because i absolutely had to know what happened to my babies. i really didn't know anything about them whatsoever and had no idea if they were endgame or not and i both loved and hated how in the dark i was about them (i really thought when they broke up in season 8 that that was going to be it and i was so sad about it). so because of the fact that i was very much consumed with these two while binge watching the show and have stayed obsessed since finishing it, i really really had to vid them. i absolutely loved the use of open your eyes in 12x22 but i assumed there would be a ton of luka/abby vids to it already. i did a cursory youtube search and i actually found just a couple so i started thinking "hmmm, maybe i could do that song..." but i still wanted it to be different from other people's edits so i tried searching for a cover and that's when i found this remastered version instead. the little bit softer run of this version was a lot easier to vid and, i felt, helped me to really focus on the scenes i used. i actually really love how this vid turned out and i hope you guys do to! BUT PLEASEEE LISTEN TO IT WITH HEADPHONES because, my computer speakers at least, completely garbles the sound without the use of headphones. pairing: luka and abby show: ER song: Open Your Eyes (Remastered) by Snow Patrol
