BEST OF COZUMEL EXCURISION | CARNIVAL PARADISE | DAY 4

We take the "Best of Cozumel" excursion offered by Carnival Paradise since our original (Cozumel by land & sea) one was cancelled. We hope you learn some essential tips based on our adventure. We start with a bus ride and our amazing tour guide Thomas. Our tour consisted of the following: First, we stopped at a local plaza that included a restaurant and enjoyed food and a "loco" drink (not included with the tour but worth the extra 44.00 for the experience) while enjoying beautiful beach views. Next, we visited the island’s largest and best-preserved Mayan Ruins, SanGervasio. Thomas gave a very educational guided tour of the archaeological site and pointed out important facts, cultural histories and myths of what was once the island's center of culture and religion. Lastly, we experience a savory traditional Mayan/Mexican lunch. Then enjoyed samples of local chocolates. Finally, what’s a visit to Mexico without some tequila? We tried lots of different local tequila shots that top of the day to a wonderful excursion
