It wouldn't be fair to confine Philip to the local band category; his presence on mainstream stages dates back to his youth. However, despite his extensive experience, he hasn't received the spotlight he truly deserves. I've yet to purchase his album because he remains somewhat underexposed. Yet, at the iconic The Baked Potato club, Philip delivered a performance that not only met but exceeded my musical expectations. Encountering authentic Stevie Ray-style Texas Blues in a local venue has become a rarity these days, at least in my experience. However, on this particular night, I was treated to one of the finest blues shows I've witnessed, especially in the realm of Texas Blues. The atmosphere was ablaze, and I found myself tapping my foot rhythmically throughout the entire performance, as evident from the somewhat unstable video recording. Personally, I enthusiastically give Philip's performance two thumbs up. I consider myself fortunate to have caught this extraordinary show, and I am eagerly anticipating the chance to experience his talent again in the near future.
