He's led local and statewide campaigns in his native New Haven, CT, New York City, and Philadelphia, PA. Hiram has been an organizing trainer for the past 7 years with the School Of Unity & Liberation (SOUL) in Oakland and the George Jackson Organizing School which he co-founded in 2023. He's the former executive director of the Philadelphia Student Union, co-founder of the organization Black Men Build, and currently serves as the founding director of the Community Resource Hub- a national organization providing research, training and technical assistance to groups across the country running Defund and police abolition campaigns.
